Lynn peak is just North of Rice Lake and the Lynn Canyon Park and is accessible via the Lynn Peak Trail. It is a longer, but a more scenic and quiet version of the Grouse Grind.
Some shots along the Capilano Pacific Trail.
A trip to rice lake, located just north of Lynn Canyon. A hidden gem as Lynn Canyon itself is full of people, but few bother venturing just a 10min hike north to this lake.
A quick hike through the Lynn Canyon Park in North Vancouver. Was too cold to stay longer.
From Richmond Centre, meandered west through various neighbourhoods to Terra Nova Park. Passed through a couple fields swarming with sea gulls, then the waterfront along River Road.
Another trip to the Cleveland trails, though this time under nicer weather.
A hike through the Lynn Canyon Park in North Vancouver.
Another run up the Grouse Grind, but this time spending a bit more time to walk around at the top before heading back down.
A trip to Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver.
Another venture into the Cleveland Dam Park via Sea Bus. It was rainy there, which added a nice mist throughout the area.
Enough with the crowded Grind. Taking a road less traveled, the BCMC trail runs more or less parallel to the Grind, but is far more peaceful.
Some shots from the top of Grouse Grind.
Shots hiking some paths near Cleveland Dam.
Camping up by Garibaldi Lake required one heck of a hike (5+ hrs), but was very worth it. The water up there is fresh from the glaciers and very clean, and the views up there are amazing.
